Silhouette Cutter Review

Some tasks involved in arts and crafts can be difficult.

You’re supposed to be having fun and enjoying your hobby. Not worrying about if the tools you’re using are going to break.

If one of those tasks for you is design cutting, then the Silhouette Cameo 3 Wireless Cutting Machine will fulfill all your needs and some you don’t even have yet.

Silhouette Vinyl Cutter Overview

The Silhouette Cameo 3 is similar in size to a home printer and is a great tool to have for paper and vinyl design cuts. It also comes with dual cartridges, allowing cutting and drawing simultaneously.

It also comes with upgraded software to use the printer from your laptop or home computer. The studio is free and allows you to use your own designs or buy others. Another handy feature of the software is that it has a trace tool which allows you to create a design from a scanned image. But if you’re in a rush to get printing, don’t fret, the software comes with 100 free designs to start.

As far as blades go, the silhouette cutting machine comes with 3 blades. The standard blade, deepcut blade, and auto-blade. The auto-blade has the convenient feature of auto adjusting based on the material you’re cutting.

Silhouette Cameo 3 Cutting Machine Conclusion

Overall, the Silhouette Cameo 3 isn’t the absolute best on the market and don’t expect to cut planks of wood with it. That obviously won’t be a problem as most crafts don’t involve carpentry from scratch. But on a serious note, the cameo 3 will meet most hobbyists needs. It has numerous strengths and the support online for operation is one of those strengths. With everything considered, it is a great tool for design cutting or just everyday arts and crafts.
